Upgrading, downgrading, and changing your card

Changing Your Subscription Tier

To upgrade or downgrade your subscription, go to your profile and select Manage Subscription.

We recommend changing your subscription tier directly through the Manage Subscription page rather than purchasing a separate new subscription. This ensures that the change is applied correctly to your existing subscription.

For recurring subscriptions, proration and direct upgrade adjustments are supported by the system. This means the system can automatically calculate the appropriate adjustment when changing between subscription tiers.

Changing Your Card

If you have an existing recurring subscription and want to change the card used for future payments, you can update your payment method through the Manage Subscription page.

You do not need to cancel your subscription and purchase a new one just to change your payment method.

Upgrading a One-Time Payment

One-time payments work differently from recurring subscriptions.

If your current plan was purchased as a one-time payment, the system cannot apply an automatic upgrade difference or carry over the remaining value of the existing plan into a higher plan.

Proration and direct upgrade adjustments are only available for recurring subscriptions. Since a one-time payment has already been completed, the system cannot automatically calculate an upgrade difference or transfer the unused value to the upgraded plan.

As a result, if you want to move from a one-time plan to a higher-tier plan, the upgrade may require a new purchase at the applicable price of the new plan.
