Aging up existing characters

PixelChat allows fictional characters to be aged up only when their canonical age is 12 or above, provided they are explicitly aged to an adult age and their visual representation clearly matches the stated adult age. Characters whose canonical age is below 12 cannot be aged up.

Allowed, within limits.

You can age up a fictional character only when all of the following are true:

• Their canonical age is 12 or above
• Their adult age is explicitly stated
• Their visual representation matches the stated adult age

All three must be met together. Meeting only one or two does not make a character eligible.

You cannot age up:

• Characters canonically under 12
• Characters played by real actors in live-action. If a character has a live-action adaptation, we follow the original age and they aren't eligible. If a real-life actor portrayed an underage character in any movie or series, that character cannot be aged up, even if the actor is an adult in real life.

The reason for the second rule: aging up a character portrayed by a real person means depicting a real person, which falls under article 6.4.
