Mobile apps

Android — supported and updated regularly. Install or update PixelChat from the Google Play Store.

You can see the current web version number at the bottom left of the side menu on the website. Keeping the app current matters — a large share of reported bugs are already fixed in versions people haven't installed.

iOS — no longer available. The PixelChat iOS app has been removed from the Apple App Store. If you already have it installed it may continue to work, but it won't receive updates.

Use the website on iOS instead, and add it to your home screen so it behaves like an app:

  1. Open Safari and go to pixelchat.ai
  2. Tap the Share icon
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen

The web version is genuinely ahead of the app. Features ship there first, fixes deploy immediately, and some things — advanced chat settings, experimental models — are web-only.
