Start here — the steps that fix most problems

Before anything else, work through these. They resolve the large majority of issues.

1. Hard refresh. Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac.

2. Sign out and back in. Fixes anything caused by a stale session — including missing subscription benefits.

3. Clear cache and cookies for the site, then restart your browser.

4. Update the app. On Android, update PixelChat in the Google Play Store. Outdated versions are behind a genuinely large share of reported bugs.

5. Turn off VPNs, ad blockers and privacy extensions. These interfere with sign-in, payments and image loading.

6. Try a different browser. We recommend an up-to-date Chrome — PixelChat relies on features that older browsers don't fully support.

7. Try a different network — switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to rule out an ISP restriction.
