Writing better image prompts

Be specific. "Drow elf" gives the model almost nothing. This gives it plenty:

deep purple skin, long smooth white hair, glowing yellow eyes, male, elven ears

Weight the important parts. Put a term in parentheses with a multiplier up to 2 to increase its influence:

(asian: 1.4)

Values above 2 are possible but tend to produce artifacts.

Use the negative prompt. List what you don't want, and weight those too. This is often more effective than adding more to the positive prompt.

Separate details with commas.
